Abano Football Trophy

The project

The ‘Città di Abano Terme’ International Tournament is the leading Under-14 football competition in Europe and every year involves the most prestigious clubs from the continent’s top leagues. The latest editions (2018 and 2019) featured 20 teams from 13 countries, which played 52 matches involving a total of 400 athletes, 100 staff members and thousands of spectators in the stadium stands.

Graphics and corporate identity

Design of the graphic concept and creation of promotional materials for the event:
flyers, posters, roll-ups, banners and other pop-up tools.

Social Media Management and teaser activity

In the months leading up to the event, strategies and teaser activities were developed on the tournament’s social media channels to promote the competition and highlight the local area and the event’s sponsors. Communications were provided in Italian and English to reflect the international nature of the event.

Event media coverage

A team from our agency followed the event live throughout all its stages, from the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony, providing live coverage of the matches from the competition venues, updating followers on the progress of the matches, and also collecting anecdotes and interesting facts about the protagonists through photos, images and interviews.

Press office and media relations

SAY handled the event’s press office, organising the press conference and managing relations with local and national media before, during and after the event.
