Safilo is a historic brand in the eyewear industry that today is present all over the world for the production and distribution of prescription, sunglasses and sports models.
The company guarantees excellent design for the fit, innovation for sunglass lenses and product quality, thanks to the experimentation on materials that has distinguished the brand’s expertise in the sector since 1878.
Art direction e shooting video
We coordinated 2 days of shooting, 35 children accompanied by their parents, 8 professionals between the production company and the agency and 4 company supervisors. The Kids by Safilo photo shoot allowed us to interact with the little ones to understand the fundamental characteristics of eyewear dedicated to them and communicate them in the best possible way. A challenging and complex professional experience that left everyone with a wonderful memory!
For the launch of Elasta, on the other hand, the company wanted to involve its employees, direct witnesses of a reality that embodies the typical characteristics of Made in Italy: tradition, creativity and innovation. We had fun doing make-up and frame tests with the candidate employees and spent three days shooting in a very collaborative atmosphere.
The result? An advertising campaign based on video, ADV and PDV materials for worldwide distribution.
Safilo, focus on creativity
For Safilo we worked on 2 creative and omnichannel campaigns for the launch of the new collections: one dedicated to children’s frames (Kids by Safilo) and one for women and men (Elasta).
Different targets that required different communication styles and an empathetic interaction with the testimonials for the shootings (under 10 years old for the Kids by Safilo campaign and company employees for the Elasta one). As a marketing agency in Padua, we took care of the imagery and coordinated the communication for the ADV in trade magazines, videos for social media, TV spots and point-of-sale displays.
Safilo was preparing for the launch of two new eyewear lines: children’s frames made in collaboration with the Italian Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and the new men’s-women’s collection Elasta, which aimed to relaunch a historical patent of the company.
The brand needed vertical online and offline creative campaigns on two different targets with the aim of:
- Promote the new products, highlighting their plus points
- Be widely present in optical and other stores with themed displays.
