Superbike 2019 WSBK Imola

The Motul FIM World Superbike Championship is the premier championship for production-based motorcycles. From 10 to 12 May 2019, it stopped off at Imola, at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack, for the fifth round of the season after Australia, Thailand, Spain and the Netherlands. The Imola circuit, inaugurated in 1950, is one of the most iconic venues for two-wheelers and is located in a natural amphitheatre between the Santerno River and a park, much loved by the public.

A team from our agency was present during the three days to follow live the races that enlivened the exciting weekend of adrenaline and spectacle on two wheels, in which the Superbike champions competed – led by the leader of the standings, Bautista – and which also saw the FIM Supersport World Championship, the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship and a support race for electric motorcycles on the track. New for this season was the introduction of a third SBK sprint race. SAY was responsible for the production and distribution of photographic material, as well as the promotion of some of the participating teams’ sponsor brands.
