The Brand

Tessilmare is an internationally recognized leader in the production of nautical accessories, from profiles for boats to technical fabrics.

It was founded in 1947 as a silk factory and since then its passion for mechanics and quality solutions has grown steadily, with a constant focus on the search for the best technologies and most resistant materials to increase the quality of accessories for the nautical sector.

Today Tessilmare is a global reference in the nautical world for the Made in Italy label, bringing with it all the values it embodies: quality, passion, commitment and attention to detail.

At the helm of Tessilmare’s digital strategy

We developed three ad hoc digital strategies for the three websites linked to the Tessilmare brand, with the aim of getting the company to communicate with both a B2C target (local and international) and a B2B one in Great Britain and the United States.

We create high-performance websites, in Italian and English, optimised for search engines, with the aim of increasing conversions through a geo-localised advertising strategy.

We also supported the brand in the launch of a new activity, Boat2Go, on Lake Como, helping to raise brand awareness and inspire confidence in the target audience.

The objectives

Tessilmare’s objectives included as many as three digital strategy and development projects, born from the desire to activate new, effective and direct communication channels with its customers also abroad, in countries where the nautical market is one of the most relevant activities.

The common goal of all three projects was to increase bookings and sales through greater brand awareness among consumers and retailers.

Our Strategy for Tessilmare

A careful evaluation of the client’s requirements and objectives led to the activation of specific teams from different agency departments. By working together, we developed a digital strategy capable of bringing excellent results across three different paths.

For tessilmare.com, SAY handled SEO activities in both Italian and English and ADV activities on Google ADS.

For the Rubrails project, we created a dedicated website, launched in September 2017, with SEO strategy in English and geolocalised ADV activation in the US coastal areas.

Finally, the creation of the website boat2go.it, with the launch of an ADV campaign in Italian and English for foreign tourists in Italy.
