Meeting Città di Padova
The project
The ‘Città di Padova’ Meeting is an international track and field event organised by Assindustria Sport, which has been held every year in Padua without interruption since 13 September 1987. The 34th edition of the event, reserved for Italian and foreign athletes in the junior, promising, senior male and female categories, took place on Sunday 5 September 2021 at the Daciano Colbachini Stadium in the Venetian city. The event, notable both for its competitive level and sporting value, was attended by some of the athletes who competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, including Massimo Stano, Antonella Palmisano and Michael Norman.
Graphics and corporate identity
SAY worked on conceiving the graphic concept that features three photos of athletes in action, belonging to three different disciplines, to emphasize the multidisciplinary nature of the event and the sports offering. From this proposal, which summarizes both athletic movement and the elegance of technical gestures, the creation of event promotional materials for web and print use was derived: roll-ups, passes, athlete bibs, press accreditations, social and website covers, gala dinner invitation.
