From North Carolina to Milan: the International Strategic Communication course visits SAY S.p.A. for a seminar on international marketing and communications.
On 19th May in Milan, SAY met with students from High Point University’s (North Carolina, USA) Master’s in International Strategic Communication. The agency delivered a lecture on international marketing and communications, focusing specifically on the differences between European and North American markets.
The session was part of a three-week educational tour across Italy, designed to introduce students to the country’s leading industrial districts and creative hubs.
The session was led by Marco Dalla Dea, Managing Partner at SAY and University Lecturer in Advertising Language Theory and Techniques, alongside Sofia Brusamolin, Marketing and Social Media Specialist at SAY. The goal? To illustrate what it means to compete in today’s European market from both a strategic and cultural perspective. Drawing on a range of case studies, we demonstrated how our team of 75 professional, organised across three divisions: Creativity, Performance, and Relations, transforms market challenges into winning strategies. This provided students with a practical, hands-on perspective on the ever-evolving marketing and communications industry.
“We would like to sincerely thank you for your kind hospitality in welcoming our group of International Strategic Communication students,” the meeting’s organizers said. “We truly appreciate your willingness to host a meeting and share your time, knowledge, and experience. Opportunities like these offer our students invaluable real-world insights and a deeper understanding of your industry, greatly enriching their academic journey. It was a pleasure for our group to learn more about your organization, and we are confident that this experience will leave a lasting impression on the students.”
“Being able to share our approach with such an attentive and curious class was incredibly stimulating,” comments Sofia Brusamolin. “Training is a fundamental driver for us: it pushes us to constantly improve our work and the solutions we offer our clients, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends. Sharing our vision beyond national borders and inspiring future American marketing managers has been a truly enriching experience.”

“For SAY S.p.A., academic dialogue is not merely a form of outreach, but a cornerstone of our corporate culture. This meeting is part of a broader strategy of ongoing engagement with the educational world, which has seen us collaborate with institutions such as the University of Padua, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Tor Vergata University, Campus CIELS, and now High Point University in North Carolina,” adds Marco Dalla Dea. “We are delighted to have contributed to these students’ educational journey and to have shared our expertise in marketing and communications alongside clients who compete throughout Europe and across the globe.”
