A podcast to keep raising awareness about gender-based violence
SAY S.p.A. is proud to support the launch of Il Rumore delle Parole (The Sound of Words), the new podcast created by Cantiere delle Donne to give voice to the many stories of gender-based violence that still affect the lives of too many women today.
Available from June 11 on all major audio platforms, the podcast is written by Pamela Ferlin, columnist for Corriere del Veneto, together with Micaela Faggiani, journalist and president of the association. The protagonists are six women from Veneto, different in age, social status, and experiences, who have chosen to recount, anonymously, how violence has affected their lives. In addition, there is a special episode dedicated to the story of Giulia Cecchettin.
Each episode explores a different type of abuse, psychological, economic, physical, sexual, or digital, with the support of experts and professionals who help analyze the signs that should not be underestimated and navigate the resources available to seek help. The project was officially presented to the European Parliament on the same day that the first two episodes were broadcast.
SAY believed in the power and urgency of this collective narrative from the outset, offering strategic and operational support for the project’s communication, in line with our founding values and our ongoing commitment to equality, respect, and inclusion. Our contribution is part of a broader campaign promoted by Cantiere delle Donne together with Fondazione Cariparo and Confartigianato Donne Impresa Veneto.
Our company is UNI/PdR 125:2022 certified for gender equality and continues to support organizations that work every day to build a more aware, fair, and safe society. Because telling stories is an act of responsibility, listening is a gesture of civility, and communicating has always been our way of generating change.
